Together Let’s Build
Rooted in Faith, Culture, and Community - Taking Shape in Atlantic Canada
For almost five decades, the Atlantic Canada Sharodia Society has been at the heart of Bengali cultural life in the Maritimes. Established in 1976, our non-profit organization brings together members from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, celebrating the vibrant traditions and heritage of Bengal. Through our annual Durga Puja and other multicultural events, we have worked to enrich the Canadian mosaic by promoting unity, diversity, and community spirit.
Now, we are working toward a long-cherished dream — the creation of Maritimes Durgabari, a permanent home for Ma Durga and a dynamic community hub that will serve future generations.
